There is a certain magic in finding the perfect balance between our passions and work. That point where your lifestyle and your responsibilities intertwine without any apparent friction.
Here is Alex, one of the founders of Pilatus, to share with you a reflection I have had over the last few days.
For the second year in a row, I’m exploring what balance means to me. “The perfect routine,” as I like to call it, is more than a plan, it’s a way of life.
My day starts early, as it should.
A good breakfast, the first emails answered while I drink my first coffee of the day, and then, a climb up the slopes to enjoy the first descents.
My Pilatus thermos always with me (allow me to advertise), the snowy landscape and that first sip of coffee help me to always remember why we design our products: to accompany you in every moment of your life.
I face the morning without rushing. I focus on enjoying the landscape and each turn on my skis.
In the afternoon, the pace changes.
Back at the computer, I dive into some meetings and tasks with the same energy I had that morning on the mountain. For me, teleworking doesn't mean doing less, but rather working more efficiently.
At Pilatus we deeply believe in this: in not choosing between what you love and what you have to do.
We design products that inspire people to live each day to the fullest, fully and consciously.
Combining passion and work is as possible as it is rewarding.
Whether I'm skiing or attending a meeting, I know Pilatus is there, helping me keep my pace and reminding me not to give up.
